Summary
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs reunites fans with Scrat, Sid, Manny and Diego in an all-new quest based on the upcoming film from Twentieth Century Fox. As the unlikely herd travels across the tundra and beyond, they stumble upon another world - a lush Dinosaur World teeming with jungles, mysterious plants, fierce dinosaurs, wild new adventures and several new friends. Taking on the role of more than six playable characters, including everyone's favorite Ice Age friends and newly introduced characters, players master their unique skills and abilities across more than 15 action-packed levels. In addition to the expanded features of the single-player gameplay, for the first time in an Ice Age game, players can team up with friends and family in eight competitive multiplayer mini-games. Experience continuously changing gameplay through more than 15 levels - Every level presents new and exciting challenges as players learn and master each character’s abilities in order to defeat enemies, traverse dangerous landscapes, avoid obstacles and escape from perilous situations. Overall, Ice Age 3 is one of the best Wii games I’ve played so far this year. Its variety and high production values kept me motivated, and for Pete’s sake, I got to ride around on a Pachycephalosaurus and headbutt other dinosaurs!

A children's game that for once delivers the movie experience to the console. Its initial slow pace soon delivers a lot of fun and humour that you would expect from a game of the movie.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is very sharp, lighthearted and fun game that will please younger fans of the movie with its varied gameplay, good looks and clever writing. A recommended purchase for fans of the movie.

Easily one of the best children’s games to come along these days. A nice array of gameplay mechanics keeps the gameplay exciting, while the multiplayer modes ensure hours of additional replayability.

Ice Age 3 is a really good game from a nice movie. Just try it, if you want a funny jump’n’run.

This is one movie-based game we can whole-heartedly recommend to fans. It’s not quite epic, and it fares on the short side, but shopping elements and unlockables add value to the package. The multiplayer mini-games are less than stellar, but the story-mode level design is sure to welcome you back for repeat visits.

I would recommend Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs to just about anyone looking for a totally fun and moderately challenging gameplay experience with all of the flavor and style of the Ice Age movies.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs doesn't bring anything new that you haven’t played a hundred times before, but the variety of gameplay types provide a break from the monotony of movie-based games.

I was left wanting more, and wondering why solid gameplay sections were only used once.

I personally enjoyed the variety of gameplay and chasing the best challenge times, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but an Ice Age super-fan under the age of 10.
